LED handrail project Lechsteg at Landsberg am Lech
The Lechsteg LED handrail project in Landsberg am Lech epitomises the combination of safety and aesthetics. The Lechsteg, an important link between the banks of the picturesque river, serves as a popular pedestrian route for locals and visitors alike. However, an innovative handrail project was developed to ensure the safety of passers-by while preserving the beauty of the footbridge.
The challenge was to design a handrail that was not only functional, but also respected and complemented the natural surroundings of the Lech river. The design had to be harmoniously integrated into the landscape and at the same time create a clear separation between the pedestrian and cycle areas.
Safety aspects were also taken into account. The handrail has been designed to meet the legal requirements while offering a pleasant feel. Sophisticated lighting along the handrail provides additional safety during the night and gives the walkway a magical atmosphere.
The Lechsteg handrail project in Landsberg is a successful example of how functionality and design can merge. It not only connects the banks of the Lech, but also people with their surroundings. This project not only improves safety, but also honours and protects the beauty of the landscape.
